At Boys & Girls Clubs of Frederick County (BGCFC), our mission is to empower all youth – especially those who need us most – to reach their full potential. This year, we’re honored to participate in the 2026 Unity Campaign, a collaborative effort led by the United Way of Frederick County to support our community’s most vulnerable members.
What is the Unity Campaign?
The Unity Campaign is a community-wide initiative running from March 4 to March 18, 2026, aimed at supporting 36 local nonprofit organizations, including BGCFC. During this period, every donation made will be matched by the Incentive Match Fund, ensuring that your contribution has an even greater impact.
Why Support BGCFC Through the Unity Campaign?
By choosing to support BGCFC during the Unity Campaign, you’re directly contributing to programs that provide a safe and nurturing environment for Frederick’s youth. The goal of ALL our fundraising efforts is keeping programs affordable, offering scholarships when needed, and ensuring no family is ever turned away based on inability to pay.
Your donation helps us offer:
- After-School Programs: Safe spaces where children can engage in educational and recreational activities.
- Scholarships and financial aid: Currently 56% of enrolled youth receive some level of aid towards their membership dues.
- Summer Camps: Opportunities for personal growth, learning, and fun during the summer months.
- Professional Counseling Services: Trauma Specialists of Maryland is currently providing on-site counseling services during our after school programs
- Mentorship and Leadership Development: Programs that build confidence and leadership skills in our members.
